FAQs

Planning a wedding or event is not always easy and is sometimes new territory for a lot of us. Below, you will find our answers to a few commonly asked questions. If you do not see the answer to you question below, feel free to contact us, and we will be happy to help.

 

I used to order arrangements from you to be delivered as a gift. Do you still do this?

As of 2017, we have shifted our focus to weddings and events and are no longer offering daily deliveries with the exception of special holidays. This was a tough decision, but we felt it was necessary in order to best accommodate our brides and special event clients. 

Do you have a minimum?

Yes. Our minimum order for custom floral is $150 before tax and delivery. Events expected to equal $300 or more before tax and delivery permit a consultation, while orders expected to be less than this will be done via email/phone.

Do I have to have a consultation?

No, although we do recommend it for larger weddings/events. Floral is infinitely customizable, so we want to make sure to get it right! Meeting in person allows us to get a better feel for your personality and vision; however, some of our clients know exactly what they want and trust our judgment. If this is the case, we are happy to propose orders over the phone/via email.

How long is an initial consultation?

Initial consultations last approximately one to one and a half hours depending on the number of items to be discussed.

Can I bring guests with me to my consultation?

Of course! You are more than welcome to bring whomever you like to your consultation as long as you are confident that your opinion will be voiced appropriately.

How do I book?

Orders totaling $350 or less will require full payment in order to secure our services. Orders totaling more than $350 will require a deposit as well as completion of our service agreement.

What is the deposit amount required?

A deposit of 50% of the proposed total will be due at the time of securing our services. Orders totaling $350 or less will require payment in full at the time of booking.

Are payments refundable?

Payments for orders totaling $350 or less as well as deposits for larger orders are non-refundable. Once you secure our services, we turn down all other possible orders which may conflict with the execution of your event, so we expect that you will honor your commitment as we will honor ours. Additionally, final balance payments are non-refundable once within 2 weeks of your event date.

How do I pay?

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

Do you offer a cash/check discount?

Yes! We will apply a 2% discount to your total if you choose to pay via cash or check.

When is my final balance due?

Your final balance will be due 2 weeks prior to the date of your event. 

Do you have insurance?

Yes. The Rogue Rose is protected under liability insurance. A copy of this coverage will be provided upon request. 

What venues do you travel to?

Our general rule of thumb is that the venue must be within 1 hour driving distance from Downtown Dallas. 

Do you charge for delivery/set-up?

Yes. The cost for delivery varies pending the location and the amount of floral to be set-up. This cost will be provided as a separate line item at the time that your event is proposed.

Do you pick up at the end of the event?

This is included in the line item for delivery/pick-up unless it has been specified that a pick-up is not required. If you are renting any of our vases or décor items, we do require a pick-up post event and do not allow for our clients to collect these items to be returned at a later date.

Can I use my own vases/décor?

We offer a wide variety of vases and containers as well as décor items such as candles, pedestals, and lanterns. If you prefer to have your floral designed in your own vases or containers, we are happy to do so. In most instances, we will ask that these be delivered to us the week of the event. You are also welcome to use any of your own décor items.

Where are you located?

In order to avoid retail space costs and offer you the best pricing available, we work out of a home-studio located about a mile Northeast of Downtown Dallas.
